India Tour of Pakistan for Champions Trophy 2025

Crucial to the decision on the Indian national cricket team’s tour is the clearance of the Indian authorities, as admitted by Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI).

Rajeev Shukla, the vice president, of BCCI told very clearly that the travelling of national team will only be allowed if granted permission from the government. Shukla said specifically that the governing body of the board will stay in line with governmental instructions to conduct international tours outside.

While the PCB (Pakistan Cricket Board) is working to come up with security protocols for the Indian team and the Indian team is more focused on qualification; India is busy making qualification. The PCB has listed Karachi, Lahore, Rawalpindi as the candidate host cities that will be presented to ICC for its consideration and the opinion of participating teams will also be taken into account.
